Verizon And Disney Plus Agreement

NEW YORK and BURBANK (October 22, 2019) – Verizon and Walt Disney Company announced a grand agreement that will offer 12 months of Disney+ to all Verizon Wireless Unlimited customers, new Fios Home Internet and 5G Home Internet customers. Disney+ will be the streaming house dedicated to movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more on November 12. The agreement will allow Verizon Wireless customers to stream Disney+ on the largest and most reliable network1 and will provide customers with another reason to choose verizon for the best content available. Eligible unlimited plans start at $70 per month (plus taxes and fees) for a single line or $35 per line for a family of four. Verizon and The Walt Disney Co. said they had renewed their agreement, which provided Verizon subscribers with Disney Plus, and that they had developed new plans containing a set of Disney streaming services. “The inclusion of The Disney Bundle in our agreement with Verizon confirms our commitment to providing their subscribers with access to quality entertainment from Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+,” said Sean Breen, EPP, Platform Distribution, The Walt Disney Company. “We`re always looking for the most beneficial ways for consumers to discover our content, and we`re excited to work with Verizon so they can bring these exciting new offerings to their customers.” To learn more or connect to updates and information, customers can visit verizon.com/disneyplus. AT&T is offering customers of its premier Unlimited &More Premium plan a selection of an entertainment service at no extra charge, including HBO, Showtime or Spotify – at no additional cost. AT&T is also gearing up for the launch next spring of HBO Max, which will likely have a promotional connection to the wireless side of the house.

And Sprint, which is trying to merge with T-Mobile, merges into Hulu`s entry tier with ads (usually $5.99 per month) with Sprint Unlimited plans. Verizon customers can enjoy everything Disney+ has to offer, including high-quality, ad-free display, up to four simultaneous streams, downloads for offline viewing, personalized recommendations, and the ability to set up up to seven different profiles Last October, the companies announced their first engagement, which gave 12 months free to all 4G LTE and 5G unlimited wireless customers, as well as FiOS Internet homes. FiOS pay-TV systems weren`t part of the previous action or the recently expanded action, although wireless customers can stream Disney apps to smart TVs and other devices alongside their phones. Mobile operators have traditionally partnered with TV and content partners to offer different incentives to attract and retain their customers. AT&T has made various promotions with its DirecTV and HBO properties. T-Mobile customers received one year netflix. Sprint offered Hulu. . Verizon`s contribution to the partnership, Boulben said, is “marketing firepower.” With 120 million individual customers and 40 million U.S. households, Verizon has a considerable direct reach with consumers. It plans to run a vigorous advertising campaign in different media and plug the bundle on its retail sites, most of which have been reopened with additional health and safety measures. .
